Endless Possibilities: How Apogee joining Boldyn Networks will help higher ed do and achieve even more
This news item was published prior to Apogee’s acquisition and subsequent rebrand to Boldyn Networks in November 2024. Learn more about the acquisition here.
In May, Apogee officially joined Boldyn Networks. You can read the press release here. Boldyn Networks is one of the largest shared network infrastructure providers in the United States and globally, and an expert in smart city innovations, private 5G LTE networks, fiber deployment and management, and large venue, arena, and transit connectivity. The acquisition combines Apogee’s expertise in higher ed managed networks and IT services with Boldyn’s extensive wireless infrastructure capabilities, positioning us for accelerated growth in the higher ed market like never before. Boldyn is determined to see Apogee grow and succeed and plans to invest in the business and higher education. I’m delighted that we have reached this significant milestone and excited about its many possibilities for all our stakeholders.
As college students’ reliance on connected devices and access to their data and applications continues to grow, so does the demand for high-speed, low-latency connectivity on campuses nationwide. With Boldyn Networks, Apogee will further its position to keep pace with the ever-growing student and administrative needs in higher ed and doing so with even stronger technical and financial backing.
For over two decades, Apogee has been recognized as the premier provider of on-campus connectivity in higher ed. It is at the forefront of equipping students with the on-campus connectivity they need to adapt to the competitive demands of tomorrow’s workforce. The Apogee team has dedicated itself to delivering world-class wireless and related technology services, ensuring that colleges and universities have the infrastructure and 24×7 support they need to thrive in today’s digital age. It’s with great pride that we have succeeded in our mission for the past 25 years, thanks to the skill and dedication of our employees and the steadfast support of our loyal customers.
As a result of this acquisition, our customers can expect nothing less than the same level of excellence and dedication that they have come to know from Apogee through the years. The Apogee team will remain in place, and customers will keep their usual contacts at Apogee. We will soon have access to Boldyn Network’s extensive wireless capabilities, allowing us to offer our clients’ students, faculty, and administration even more wireless infrastructure and related services on their campuses. I’m confident that by joining forces with Boldyn Networks, we will consistently exceed our customers’ current and future expectations.
Together, we see immense potential to extend our capabilities and bring even greater value to higher ed.
The first time I met with Igor Leprince and Christos Karmis from Boldyn Networks, it was evident that Boldyn shares similar views on how both companies can benefit from each other now and in the future. It’s an exciting time in our growth story, and I can’t wait for us to get started.
As we embark on this next chapter together, Apogee will continue to deliver on our promises to meet and exceed our customers’ needs and expectations. I want to express my sincere gratitude to our customers, employees, and partners for their part in Apogee’s success. The acquisition represents the next growth phase and endless possibilities for the future of higher ed.
At Apogee, enthusiasm about our future as a Boldyn Networks’ company is in the air. For now, we expect to operate business as usual, and I look forward to sharing more details later this year as we identify new ways to leverage each other’s capabilities and deliver greater value to our customers.
In the meantime, I invite you to connect with one of our higher ed specialists to learn how we can empower your campus to accomplish and exceed its goals in delivering top-notch experiences to your students.
